Hey, I'm Debbi, 31 years old and a mom of two children. I'm here to share useful and exciting knowledge about cloth diapers and parenting with you on the Judes Academy Blog.
My personal experiences with cloth diapers: How I got into it
My two children were born in December 2019 and December 2021. For my husband and me, washable diapers were initially something completely new, and we started with some doubts. However, within a few days, we were completely convinced and clothed both children exclusively in cloth diapers from birth to potty training. The best part? We saved an incredible amount of waste, and both children were completely diaper-free by 14 months.
Many other parent friends also couldn't initially imagine using washable diapers. But when we showed them how easy it is, the skepticism disappeared. Many wanted to try it right away, which works wonderfully with the trial set from Judes.
Who am I? A look behind the scenes
We raise our children with a needs-based and self-determined approach. We breastfed for a long time, still sleep in a family bed, and always follow the path that feels right for everyone. In 2024, we emigrated to Thailand and have been experiencing a lot of freedom and adventure ever since. Even here, our principle remains: The needs of each individual count, and all decisions are made together.
What makes my work at Judes so special
I'm so glad to have been writing for Judes for so long. I admire the simple cloth diaper system, which helps even inexperienced parents get it right. If I were to become a mom again, there is no question about which system I would choose.
The philosophy behind Judes also excites me, making writing all the more enjoyable. I fully share the same values regarding parenting and can therefore write authentic texts without having to pretend. For me, Judes is a perfect match—a product that excites me and a brand that provides parents with helpful and immediately applicable tips for life with babies that I also advocate for.
